Debtors Prisons

In the constitution, it states unequivocally there shall be no such thing as a debtors prison and yet over the years they have eroded this by some exceptions.

Also, in state constitutions, it states the same thing except for fraud, which is a crime and punishable by imprisonment.

In cases where a debt is owed, you can get a judgment against them, seize property and garnish wages.

In this country, there should not be such disparages that a rich man can just pay money and a poor man would be jailed.

To take someone's liberty away and imprison them, there must be a crime committed. Not just an inability to pay.

Some of these exceptions are as follows:

1. Child support:
They say its for contempt of court but the court ordered you to pay money. ( A rose is a rose.) I can see jail if there is an act of fraud, but if a man is unemployed or disabled and they put him in jail, its just going to cost the taxpayers more money. Then like above they should get a judgment against them, seize property and garnish any future wages.

2. Court costs:
Again I see no criminal actions you are required to be there or there would be criminal actions. Also I question the costs. Don't my tax dollars pay for the court house, the judge, the prosecutors, the clerk of the court, the pubic defenders? It's a heavy burden to give justice to our poor but what would we be if we didn't ? There, again, the rich man can pay and walk away while the poor man has to go to jail. They use the guise of contempt of court again.

I assert that when a court orders a man to jail for his inability to pay, they are in contempt of the constitution.

Oaths

For people pursuing jobs that require oaths, they are not just a formality. Most deal with the public trust, that you uphold standards, values, and ideals for the positions they are seeking.

Some take an oath to the Constitution to defend it (which seems to be seriously lacking today).

Others take the Hippocratic oath to have compassion and empathy for your fellow man (such as doctors do).

Lastly, some take an oath to be impartial, fair, and abide by the law (such as judges and police).

The first oath takers that come to mind are congressmen, senators, and presidents. If you are seeking these jobs for wealth or power, you have already betrayed the oath before you even take it. Your oath is to the Constitution. You were put into office by the people that believed in you and thought you had their well being in mind (not to take power away from the Constitution, but strengthen it by strongly fighting for those rights for these people who believed in you).

Then, there are doctors. Was it for the money or compassion to help people that made you pursue your job? You take the Hippocratic oath and I, as a patient, would like to think that you are concerned about me.

Judges and police take oaths too. Again, the public's trust is at stake. They are there not for their own special form of justice, but to be fair and impartial and adhere to the laws themselves.

Now, back to the money aspect. Yes, these are well paying jobs, but these are the things we are paying you for.

I do not expect you to be a perfect human all the time, just while doing these jobs. Then, we all could enjoy life a little more.

Oppression

The fight against oppression began right from the start with man the strong against the weak
.
But it wasn’t are strength that made us the top species because bare handed we would still be food. We are not the strongest, fastest, or have the biggest claws and teeth.

It was our brains that made the difference.

In our fight within our species against might makes right our brain again won out.

It devised what we call justice, fairness and equality and with the help of our emotions where sympathy, empathy, compassion aided us on our journey.

Then came the oppression of ideas and beliefs with the dawn of  the dark ages. Then through the age of enlightenment we came.

But oppression still exists even today
.
The thing I can’t understand is nobody wants to be the oppressed but some still seek to be the oppressors.

Lets learn from are history and have justice, fairness, equality, sympathy, empthy and compassion.

Let freedom ring and viva la difference in all of us.

If you want to you can get your name and message sent on them too.

Here are my certificates. to verify this story.

The Fourth Branch Of Government

In school we where taught there was three branches of government Executive, Legislative and Judicial.

There are four. The latter being We The People and we have to power to elect two of the other three branches and to show when they are wrong and have through history with our right to assemble and our right to free speech.

To let them know women had the right to vote and equal pay. To let them know that it didn't matter the color of ones skin. Or what they believe in. but they should known by the oath that they take. That all men (men meaning if human man or woman) are created equal with certain inalienable rights.

At the times in our history when these people took to the streets it made people mad but everyone today would say they where right.

Think about it when they want to start labeling some of these people today.

Seems like our fights for our rights will never end.

Privacy,Rights and Good v. Evil

Privacy is a right. Not a privilege or preference. A constitutional right. An inalienable right of nature. It is how nature builds all of its living things, encapsulated so that that each living organism can have its own life.

Our technology is surpassing our humanity and I fear for the future. Looks to me Like Orwell was right. Looks like the days of big brother are upon us.

The cost of freedom, equality and justice is that you give it, not take it away and its for everyone or you don't have it.

A list of some human faults some call Good v. Evil is as follows:

Power and Control v. Freedom, Equality and Justice (Is why there is separation of powers in the Constitution. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Then megalomania ensues.)

Arrogance v. Empathy and Understanding

Greed v. Human rights (love of money is not bad, everyone has it. But when you want it so bad you would do harm to others to obtain it, then you are sick with greed.)

Privacy v. Your need to know (Sticking your noses in other peoples private business. Telescope sickness I call it. Because you like to look at other people through it but wouldn't want them watching you and it can lead to worse things you peeping toms.)
.
